This year, the employee gathering highlighted the theme of “dream big we’ll GO-HI”. It was held for 3 days, on Friday (August 2nd) – Sunday (August 4th). The employees of PMS Group enjoyed every moments in this event. Gala dinner became the peak moment of Emgath. Didi Kempot as the Guest Star successfully entertained all the invited guests and employees by giving his familiar songs, e.g pamer bojo, solo balapan, etc. All participants enjoyed those songs and enthusiast to dance together.
In addition, this event also launched the corporate culture that aims the new hope for achieving goals by envolve big efforts. It is applied to the corporate culture, namely GO-HI (growth, optimistic, happy and integrity). The Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners of PMS Group, and also its subsidiaries, build to streghten and commit the company’s goals.
On Friday, July 19, 2019 and located at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs, President Director of PT Pelindo Marine Service, Eko Hariyadi Budiyanto and PT Pelindo III Head Office team attended a coordination meeting related to economic potential with the application of #TSS in the Sunda Strait and Lombok Strait led by the Deputy Field of Maritime Sovereignty Coordination. This meeting discussed the conditions and potential for infrastructure development, maritime services and HR with the plan to implement #TSS in these locations. Ship traffic conditions in the Sunda Strait in 2018 reached 53,068 ships while in Lombok Strait 36,773 ships. The benefits of the application of #TSS are, it can improve shipping safety and protection of the maritime environment, as well as to improve supervision of ships passing through the Sea Channel. On this occasion, PT Pelindo III Group also presented material about the need for TSS as a supporter in managing sea lanes with high traffic.
Wednesday, 17 July 2019. Currently, the educational organization development becomes essential to support Indonesian HR that can be strong compatible to compete globally. Education is fundamental and barometer of national achievement trend in governmentally and globally. Nowadays, education becomes a concern for government and SOEs to develop it. We have to cooperate educational programme with any institutions and governmental organizations. As we know that PT Pelindo has built Educational Foundation that is BARUNAWATI, and provided learning facilities for elementary-seat of learning levels.
Moreover, PT Pelindo Marine Service requires to execute the programme of Government and its Parent Company to support the educational foundation with Barunawati college for having internship collaboration. At this moment, we also declared that Barunawati college students may contribute in internship programme in PT Pelindo Marine Service, in order to build the further knowledge of maritime. It aims to give contribution for the development of port and maritime, and educational institutions to develop national growth and decrease the lower education.
On this Friday morning, 12th July 2019, @pelindomarine held the agenda of sharing knowledge, as the high potential strategy on HR development of the company. Sharing Knowledge means the exchange of employees' knowledge, skills, and experiences, as the form of Knowledge Management in PT PMS workplaces. It aims to retain intellectual assets, learning across department, and improving productivity of employees.
Sharing knowledge is named as “Masako” or the abbreviation of Marine Sharing knowledge. It would be held routine on Friday. Recently, it was the first day of having Masako, and the main speaker was Mr Sapto Wasono Soebagio, as the Director of Finance, HR, and General Affairs of PT PMS. He took Leadership as the main topic. There will be credit point for the active participant, as the appreciation tribute for Employee of the year and Department of the year. This activity aims to improve the employee productivity of PT PMS.
Surabaya, Sunday 24 March 2019, at 08.00 WIB, Flower Parade was started from Tugu Pahlawan and finished at Santa Maria Catholic Senior High School. Pelindo III Group contributed to present Flower Parade, Culture Festival, and Marching Band. This year, the celebration highlighted the theme of "Puspawarni Indonesia". Pelindo III Group presented the Bee Flower that was filled with a lot of flower arrangements ideas of bee. The deep philosophy of bee, is the excellent animal, maintaining solidarity and non-wild. There are a lot of kindness values that can be applied. The parade was attended by Directors of PT PMS that was appointed as the coordinator by PT Pelindo III for handling Flower Parade, Culture Festival, and Marching Band of Pelindo III Group.
The Board of Directors of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) commit to apply work safety regulations. It is a duty to execute safety regulations for the entire people in Pelindo III Group’s workplaces.
The appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are applied for work safety measures. There are some classifications for using PPE that are based on the type of protection afforded by the equipment and the prevention of work-related injury. The basic PPE are safety helm with chainstrap, safety shoes, mask (conditional item), vast, safety glasses (conditional item), and gloves.
As instructed by Directors of PT Pelindo III (Persero), this morning, Friday (28/6/19), Pelindo Marine Service Group socialized the duty for using PPE that are based on the type of work protection. The Director of Finance, HR & General Affairs of PT PMS, Sapto Wasono Soebagio, attended and led the socialization. President Director of PT APBS, Wawan Sulistiawan, and the representatives of Pelindo III Head Office also attended this occasion. The entire people in PMS Group’s workplaces have to protect themselves against any physical harm or hazards that may happen in the workplace environment.
Moreover, it was also attended by shareholders and business partners that have contributions in PMS Group workplaces. The use of PPE was handed over symbollicaly by company representatives who were Sapto Wasono Soebagio and Wawan Sulistiawan. The commitment of “I Choose to Be Safe” was also declared after signing the declaration and commitment for executing the PPE regulations. It was started on 1 July 2019, the obligation to use PPE has to be obeyed and be monitored by conducting routine safety patrols in the PMS Group. It aims to maintain a safe workplace environment.
